For too long now, brands have been paying big budgets for things they don’t need. No, you’re not crazy. That’s what was going on behind the curtain. “Big idea thinking” is just a codeword for let’s shoot for winning some awards in the creative department, and across the agency. Big awards means furthering your own career, boosting the prestige of the agency, and getting to hobnob with celebrities on yachts off of the coast of France. Meanwhile, the client is funding this mental masturbation under the guise of “PR” and “Buzz”. But in reality, just like any other jerk sesh, you’re left unfulfilled, and with a bit of an icky feeling.

 

Our idea is to nip this in the bud. Our ethos is based around that of working class professionals. Electricians don’t win big pieces of metal for coming up with unique, show-offy wiring designs. No, they just give you what you want in a way that’s effective and efficient. So we’re not doing the awards thing. Our trophy is a thank you email from the CEO, and a steady bottom line. The awards we win are moving the needle for our clients, making them more money, and being good, honest partners. Our model is based on those who get shit done. We’re lean. We’re mean.
